Type Unite is an international student typography exhibition. Part of Dubai Design Week 2017. Participated by students over 7 different countries: China, Ecuador, Indonesia, Poland, South Korea, Turkey and USA.

Challenge
- Creating a typographic poster that represents Indonesia for the Dubai Design Week 2017 exhibition.
- Interpreting Indonesian culture through a modern and futuristic visual approach.
Solution
- The concept represents “Harmony in Complexity”, inspired by Indonesia’s diverse cultures united as one nation.
- Different patterns symbolize various ethnic groups, while vibrant colors are used to attract visual attention.
The Results
- Selected as one of Indonesia’s representatives at Dubai Design Week 2017.
- Achieved 2nd place in the Type Unite project.
- Featured in the Type Unite exhibition compilation book at Dubai Design Week 2017.
